Connecting your apps
Email, calendars, WhatsApp, accounts, CRM and job management: what each connection does.
Email and chat
- Gmail or Microsoft 365: new mail in your inbox is picked up, and replies go from your own address in the same conversation.
- Slack: Covalance tells you when a reply is waiting, and you can approve it there.
- WhatsApp: messages to your business number come in like email, and replies go back on WhatsApp. You connect your own number on Meta’s screens and pay Meta for messages yourself.
Calendars
Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar: Covalance sees when you’re free, so drafts can offer real times, and can book appointments in your own calendar. It only reads busy times, never the details of your events, and never other people’s calendars.
Accounts, CRM and jobs
- Xero or QuickBooks: Covalance looks up what a customer owes, with payment links, so replies about invoices are right. With Xero, a workflow can also leave draft bills and invoices for you to approve there.
- HubSpot, Pipedrive or Zoho CRM: Covalance looks up the sender before drafting and can note each reply on their contact, and add deals or follow-up tasks.
- ServiceM8: Covalance looks up the sender’s quotes and jobs, and can add a new customer’s job at Quote.
Keys and disconnecting
The keys these services give Covalance are stored encrypted and never shown or logged. Disconnect any of them under Settings → Connections; if one stops working, Covalance tells you and shows Reconnect.
