Privacy notice
Draft, last updated 16 October 2026. This notice is being reviewed before Covalance's public launch.
Who we are
Covalance is an AI workflow service for small businesses. Questions about this notice or your data go to privacy@covalance.ai.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address and the date you joined.
- Using Covalance: your account email, the emails you forward to your Covalance address, the drafts we prepare, the edits you make, and a record of each step (status, timing, model used and cost).
- Technical data: your IP address, used briefly to limit abuse of sign-in and the waitlist form. We don't store it with your account.
How we use it
- To invite you to the beta and email you about it.
- To run the service you asked for: sort your emails, draft replies and send the ones you approve.
- We don't sell your data, show you ads, or use your emails to train AI models.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare: hosting, storage and the decision models that sort your emails.
- Anthropic: Claude, which drafts replies. Content is sent to it only to produce the draft.
- Resend: sends sign-in links and the replies you approve.
Our logs hold ids, statuses, timings and costs. They never hold the content of your emails, prompts or AI replies.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist addresses: until you join the beta, or until you ask us to remove you.
- Sign-in links and expired sessions: deleted automatically every day.
- Workspace data: while your account is open. Ask us and we'll delete it.
